My minty avocado smoothie


So the other day I was wondering what to do with a bunch of avocados that I had in my kitchen. Aaaand I did not feel like eating it plainly I've not come around the thought of adding avocados to my food.
Then I thought why not make myself a smoothie with these avocados and just avoid sugar and this is what I came out with...




Want to try this recipe out with me... here goes....

Ingredients:

  • 4 large Avocados
  • 50 ml natural honey
  • 100 ml Vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 3 - 4 chopped Mint leaves


Let's get cooking:

  • Rake the flesh of the avocados and put them in the blender.


  • Add honey and vanilla yoghurt and blend until smooth.
  • Add the vanilla essence to the mixture and stir with a big spoon.
  • Finally add in the mint leaves and continue to blend until the mint dissolves into the mixture.
  • Pour this into 4 glasses and garnish with a mint leaf in each glass.


*You can garnish this with some bananas or strawberries or whatever other fruit you like or even a spoonful of whipped cream.

This drink is sooooo refreshing and will leave you wanting more. So go on, give it a try... :-)
